Learning the Motorway

So you’ve passed your driving test, burnt the L plates and raring to go. But what happens when it comes to wanting to drive on the motorway?

You may think your okay on a quiet Sunday afternoon in good driving conditions. But what happens in rush hour, when it is raining heavily, the windows are steaming up and its total chaos?

Fact is, it is best to know how to drive safely on the motorway and this can be done once you have passed. There is, unfortunately, no end to the amount of fatal accidents caused on British motorways every day. Many accidents can be prevented if people are taught properly about motorway driving.

You can benefit by going out with an experienced driver and getting a thorough understanding for how motorways work and how to handle situations.

A good way to learn is through either the pass plus course or asking your driving instructor for further lessons once you have passed. At Wolverhampton Driving School we offer both as we truly believe they are important.

So when you do pass think carefully about motorway driving, it is great fun when it is done safely.
