Lets Get Green

Whilst recently thinking about a new car, I was interested what environmentally friendly cars were on the market.

We all know what horrific effects out current engines have on the environment. Yet, twenty-first century life means that, for many of us, we feel we could never live without our cars. So what “green” cars are on offer this year?

Whatgreencar.com provides the ten best investments for green cars that will be available in 2009. My personal favourite been the Honda CR-Z hybrid, though it wont hit the market until December 2009.

Nevertheless, the site teaches us what efforts are been made to help encourage greener driving. Honda appears to be making the most drastic movements in order to achieve environmentally friendly engines.

So when looking for your next car, give “greener” cars a look at, there are some real beauties (and some monsters) which may take your fancy!

Speed Camera Challenge

As many of you, with speeding fines and lost penalty points will know, the case of Aitken Brotherston is creating might interest in the motoring world.

The 61 year old who was clocked by speed camera, doing 52mph on a 40mph road is claiming that the workings of the device was not properly examined by Parliament. If won, the case could mean that thousands of fines would be retracted.

However, at Wolverhampton Driving School, we urge people to remember the speed limits. Whether Brotherston gets away with his fine or not, the fact still remains that you must stick to speed limits.

So, when you are on your next driving lesson do not expect your instructor to give you leeway when you are not sticking to the speed limits.
